About Wordcraft

A beautifully crafted daily word puzzle for curious minds. One word. Six tries. New every day.

🧩

What is Wordcraft?

Wordcraft is a free, browser-based daily word game. Every day at midnight UTC, a new five-letter word is unlocked. Your goal is to guess it within six attempts using colour-coded feedback as your guide.

💡

Why we built it

We believe the best games are simple to learn, hard to master, and worth coming back to every morning. Wordcraft is our take on that ideal — no accounts, no ads in the way, no fluff.

⚙️

How it works

The daily word is determined by a deterministic algorithm seeded to today's date — everyone worldwide plays the same word. Your progress is stored locally in your browser; nothing is sent to any server.

🔒

Your privacy

Wordcraft stores only your game progress and statistics in your browser's local storage. We do not collect personal data, require registration, or track individual gameplay on our servers.

Frequently asked questions

Is Wordcraft free to play?
Yes, completely free. You do not need to create an account or pay anything. The game is supported by non-intrusive display advertising.
How often does the word change?
A new word is released every day at midnight UTC. The countdown timer on the game page shows exactly how long until the next word.
Can I play previous puzzles?
Currently, Wordcraft only offers the current day's puzzle. Archive support may be added in a future update.
My progress disappeared — what happened?
Your statistics and today's game state are saved in your browser's local storage. Clearing browser data, switching browsers, or using private/incognito mode will reset your progress.
How do I share my result?
After completing the puzzle, tap the Share Result button. On supported devices it opens your system share sheet; on others it copies a spoiler-free emoji grid to your clipboard.
I found a bug or want to suggest a word — how do I contact you?
Head over to our Contact page and send us a message. We read every submission and try to respond within a few business days.
